DIPS Nurmahal students who get Gold in CBSE National Athletic Meet.

Jalandhar, December 26, 2013: For the second consecutive year DIPS Nurmahal gets Gold in CBSE National Athletic Meet. CBSE National Athletic Meet was held in Sunbeam School, Bhagwanpur at Varanasi from December 18 to 22.
In this competition students of CBSE schools of India and 15 Gulf countries had participated. It was a national level competition and Daljit Kaur of DIPS Nurmahal has beaten all other participants in U-19 Short put and bagged a Gold Medal for herself. Apart from this Daljit Kaur also bagged fourth position in javelin throw, Navneet Kaur and Sumit Tewari bagged the fourth position in U-19 Discus throw .
As a part of celebration, the winners were taken around the Nurmahal city in the form of a procession. People of Nurmahal congratulated the school for bringing laurels to the city.
Chairman Gurbachan Singh, Managing Director Tarwinder Singh, C.E.O Monioka Mandotra and Controller Academic Gulshan Gakhar applauded the students for their splendid performance and also honoured them.
Principal Usha Parmar was filled with pride for the students and inspired them to perform with such zeal in future too.
