Jalandhar, December 28, 2013: The second day of 12-day FDP on Entrepreneurship (December 27 to January 7) at GNDU College campus, Ladowali road, Jalandhar was started with great interest and zeal.
In the first session Prof. M.J Kalra(Associate Professor GNDU College,Jalandhar) apprised the faculty members with his valuable knowledge on the topic ‘Busineess ideas Identification’. All the teachers of different colleges got inspired from his information regarding establishment of a new business. He said that a person could fulfil his dreams by having new ideas, passion, positive and risk taking attitude towards life. He quoted many inspirational examples of renowned businessmen and companies. The resource person of the day was Dr. Manoj Kumar (Associate Professor, IIM Rohtak ) presented his views on the topic ‘Need and Importance of Financial management in small business’. The aim of this FDP is to have different objectives like: to make the participants aware about the key components of entrepreneurship, to develop motivation among the participants for fostering entrepreneurship in their institutions and colleges, to conduct a platform for industry and academic fraternity to come together and share their requirements. Dr. Ashish Arora(Assistant Professor) programme co-ordinator extended the formal welcome and thanked all the members of this development programme.
