Punjab News/Four students from University of Angers France reach PCTE Group of Institutes

Four students from University of Angers, France –Elodie Colange, Graziella Perion,   Julie Colaud and Jean Paul Kekela reach PCTE Group of Institutes at Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, January 4, 2014: Four students from University of Angers, France –Elodie Colange, Graziella Perion,   Julie Colaud and Jean Paul Kekela reached PCTE Group of Institutes for trimester  in a  Students Exchange programme of PCTE and University of Anger, France. Five students from PCTE will visit Angers, France under the same programme next week. University Of Angers, France was founded by Napolean Bonaparte and is one of the largest University in France. PCTE signed an MOU with University Of Angers for faculty and students exchange and research. Till now 4 students exchange programmes took place between the two Institutes.
“Last year, I kept asking the students of PCTE about India when they were at our campus back in France and now as I am here finally, it’s amazing to experience all that” said Jean Paul Kekela, Student from France. Harpreet K Kang, Dean, International Affairs, PCTE, stressed the idea of cultural and educational exchange between the two Institutes. She elaborated that student exchange programs enhance the understanding of global market and provides the International exposure required in the corporate world.
While arriving to the PCTE campus this morning Elodie, another student from France said she is looking forward to taste various Indian Cuisines and experience the markets of India. She stressed on to travel across India and to understand the heritage culture of the country.
This is the second year for a regular student exchange between the two partners. Last year also three students from PCTE went for a semester long academic exchange, and four students from University of Angers spent the Spring Semester at PCTE.
Dr. K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of institutes said that it’s a big opportunity for the students and faculty to get International first hand exposure and information about the European markets. Dr Kang  added that PCTE has  twelve International MOU signed with leading institutes in  France, Poland, Lithuania, UK, Africa , Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
