Jalandhar, January 26, 2014: Republic Day was celebrated in MGN Public School, Jalandhar on Saturday. Manveen Kaur, Head Girl of the School delivered a speech on importance and celebrations of the day. Rishita and Gursirat Kaur of class II also spoke on the importance of the day. Reetum student of class IV recited a poem on Republic Day.
A group dance was performed by students. Supriya and Palak (ex- students of the school) evoked national spirits when they sung song “Eh mere vatan ke logo”.
Boys of senior classes presented Bhangra. All students of the school joined for celebration in the assembly ground.
