Farewell Party of Department of Arts taking place at Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana on Thursday.
Ludhiana, March 13, 2014: The canvas of Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana, was painted with various hues of gaiety, nostalgia and anticipation of future as a goodbye party for B.A-III (2013-2014) was organised with gusto in the college auditorium.
Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council, presided over the function as Chief Guest.
On the occasion, Dr. Jasbir Brar, Head, Department of Physical Education, was given a warm send off by the students and staff. Principal, Dr Narinder Sandhu congratulated her for the successful completion of her tenure in the college and for entering the new phase of life. A cultural bonanza of dance, medley and choreography brightened up the stage. Students tapped their feet to various hit numbers. Hallmark of the event was ramp walk by the seniors. They graced the ramp in beautiful traditional attires.
Ranjodh Singh gave his blessings to the passing-out batch and wished them success.
Principal, Dr. Narinder Sandhu, applauded their endeavours in putting up a great show. She also motivated the outgoing students to work hard in their respective fields and earn laurels in life.
Jagtar Singh, Secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council, said that it is difficult to bid adieu to the outgoing class, but then that’s the way life goes on. The function came to an end with the crowning ceremony of Farewell.
Kanika Maini was adjudged Ms. Farewell. Preeti Singh and Priya Gupta stood I and II runners up, respectively.
