Two days ‘Job Mela-14’ kicks off at CT Group of Institutions

CT Group of Institutions in association with the department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab on Thursday organising a two days ‘Job Mela-14’.

Jalandhar, March 13, 2014: On the endeavor of providing the pathway to success, the CT Group of Institutions in association with the department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab is organising a two days ‘Job Mela-14’ on the premises of institutions for the Polytechnic students of Punjab. 

The event was kicked off on Thursday in which more than 100 leading corporate across various sectors and around 5300 students from different Polytechnic Colleges across Punjab participated in this Job Mela.

Termed as fair of opportunities, the Job Mela was inaugurated by the Chief Guest for the event Ehsaan-Ul-Haq, President of Jalandhar Management Association, Narinder Singh, Principal Punjab Polytechnic College, Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman of CT Group of Institutions and Dr. Manoj Kumar, Group Director of CT Group of Institutions.

Ehsaan-Ul-Haq delivered the key note address highlighting the pro and cons of the industries. He also advised the students to follow the innovative path to win higher laurels in their life. He advised them to look for becoming an Ideal instead of making an aim of becoming Idol. Besides, the dignitaries motivated and encouraged the students. They also advised them to celebrate this event and step forward to get the maximum benefit out of this event.

More than 100 top notch multinational and national companies from different sectors participated in the mega Job Mela for the recruitment of brilliant diploma holders includes John Deere, TATA Motors, HCL Infosystem, Competent Synergies, Eastman  and many more. Students from different Polytechnic Colleges of State got registered to avail the golden chance of getting job in the reputed companies with excellence. Rewarding salary packages was also offered to the skilled and potential students by the companies.

Company officials also interact with diploma students to give them proper information about job opportunities and various carrier options after completing diploma. They interviewed them and make them aware about the skills embedded in the students.

Exclaimed over the thunderous response, Chairman CT Group of Institutions Charanjit  Singh Channi said, “This Job Mela is an effort with an aim to provide ample job opportunities to the Polytechnic students of all the Polytechnic colleges of Punjab. Besides in such events both the parties remain in gaining positions of getting potential employees. It also helped the students to get the job opportunities at their door step. We hope large number of students will get success as even our guests have motivated them and make them pledge to be innovative in life instead of following the regular or old path.”

Group Director of CT Group of Institutions, Dr. Manoj Kumar said, “This was an effort to provide platform to the students. Not only for specific group of students but our Institutions has always been keen to organise such placement drives and job fairs for the students coming from different streams.”
