Ludhiana, April 23, 2014: Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Ludhiana in association with DMC&H organised a blood donation camp at its campus here today.
Prem Gupta, Honorary General Secretary, DMC&H Managing Committee inaugurated the camp.
The students and faculty, whole heartedly participated in the event. More than 60 units of blood were collected from this initiative.
Sukanshu, a student of MBA 2nd, while talking to the media said ,”Nothing in this world gives you more satisfaction than indulging into some selfless act”. Rohit Sharma of MBA 2nd expressed happiness on donating blood, as his gesture could help save a life. Tajeshwar, a student of the same class, donated blood himself and motivated his friends to be part of it.
Prof. Gunwant Singh Dua, Co-ordiantor , GGNIMT appreciated all the donors for making the venture successful. Prof. Prithipal Singh Kapur, President , GKEC; Gursharan Singh Narula, Senior Vice President, GKEC , Principal Dr. P. S Khattra also graced the occasion with their presence.
