Jalandhar: DIPS Suranussi organised seminar on World Malaria Week for the students of Class 9 to 12. The team from Civil Surgeon Jalandhar office conducted the seminar. It was comprised of Dr Aruna (Assistant Health Officer), Dr Harbans (Medical Officer), Amarjeet Kaur (Deputy Media Mass Officer) and Sansar Chand (Sanitary Inspector). The gathering was apprised about the water borne diseases namely Malaria and Dengue. The seminar focused how to fight against small bite of mosquitoes, symptoms and precaution of diseases. The school principal Bela Kapoor also spoke.
