Jalandhar, April 28, 2014: Valedictory Function for outgoing PG classes was organised at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar on Monday.
Students attired in colourful and bright dresses were seen full of enthusiasm. Students participated in various competitions like Solo Dance, Baloon Dance etc.
Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj welcomed the students and congratulated them on completing their post-graduation in this college. She also motivated them to work hard and wished them a bright future. The outgoing students handed over Vidya Jyoti to their juniors. Sakshi gave good wishes to her seniors on behalf of her friends. Shabnam, Harpreet, Meenakshi and Mandeep gave farewell speeches on behalf of outgoing PG classes. They became nostalgic and recaptured their memorable stay in the institution. They also thanked the Principal, staff and their juniors for their cooperation. Musical Chairs, Antakshari and Modelling Round of the staff and students were enjoyed by one and all. The titles of Miss HMV, First and Second Runners up, Miss Punjaban, Miss Elegance and Miss Perfect Bride were given to the students.
P. Clair, Dr. Jyoti Mittu, Dr. Santosh Khanna, Dr. Nitika Arora and Sonia Mahendru were the judges of the day.
The stage was conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Shallu Batra, Urvashi, Dr. Nidhi Kochhar.
On this occasion, Dr. Rama Chaudhary, Dean Students Council, Co-Dean Archana Kapoor and other members of the council were also present.
