“Grow Trees” event being held in DIPS, Bhogpur.

Jalandhar, May 2, 2014: “Grow Trees” event was conducted in DIPS, Bhogpur by Principal Raminder Kaur. Students of pre wing classes participated in this event. It was celebrated as “Green Day”.
All the tiny tots reported in green dresses as the symbol of prosperity. All the students brought green fruit, green pencils and green handkerchiefs and their Tiffin were also full of green vegetables.
The classes were decorated with green balloons.
The students brought the plants from their homes and they planted it with their little hands in the presence of Principal and teachers.
The importance of trees was explained to the students and they were guided to grow more trees to save our earth.
The purpose of event was to make the students aware of the value of trees in our life. Beautiful slogans were made by teachers. Students recited the beautiful rhymes on Trees.
Students enjoyed the moment of planting and watering of plants.
The day became memorable for students as well as for teachers.
