Tagore Public School, Ludhiana organising various celebrations.
Ludhiana, May 14, 2014: To make the students aware about the important days which are celebrated across the world, the school organised different activities to celebrate Mother’s Day, Red Cross and Technology Day. The whole got involved for these celebrations and the students put their heart and soul to give a meaning to these celebrations in their own way.
President of the School Sunil Goel, President of the Society Chaman Lal Gupta, Manager of the School Shiv Kumar Mittal, Principal of the School, D.Narang and other members of the Executive Committee appreciated the students. The kindergarten and primary students made beautiful cards depicting their love and respect for the beautiful gift of God on earth – their mother. The colours, the wordings on the cards spoke about their admiration for mother. The middle section got involved in the Poster Making Competition on Red – Cross – The NGO working day and night for the social service of the people. The students displayed their talent and understanding of this organisation through their drawings. All the classes from VI to VIII whole heartedly participated in it. The seniors were interested in emphasising on the importance of Technology through Slogan Writing Competition in which they pointed towards the indispensability of technology. In totality the celebrations proved fruitful in updating the knowledge of the students and making them aware about the importance and scantling of these days. The students thanked the authorities for providing them this rare opportunity.
