CISFG Investiture Ceremony: New Office Bearers

Jalandhar, May 31, 2014: The investiture ceremony of the new cabinet is held today in the auditorium of Cambridge International School for Girls. The arrival of the Chief Guest Colonel Ramit Arora (Artillery Regt), Chairman LWES Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Deepak Bhatia, Director LWES Nitin Kohli, Academic Director LWES Deepa Dogra and Executive Director JK Kohli triggered the ceremony. The cabinet members marched in sync with sound of the drum beats for the proceedings.

As change is the law of nature, the outgoing cabinet members handed over their sashes and transferred their responsibilities to the newly appointed members.

The students of class three staged a dance 'Shiv Tandav' expressing the eternal source of energy is the force which leads you forward. Senior girls made the environment calm with a Sufi song presentation.

Vice Principal, Preeti Sharma and the worthy chief guest Col. Ramit Arora bestowed the badges to the Head Girl Haramrit Kaur, Sports Captain Shreya Bublani, Vice Head girl Simran, V.Sports Captain Yashuti, Literary head Divya, Cultural head Shreya Mahindru, Sapphire House Captain Shivranjini, Emerald, Amethyst and Amber house captains Asavari, Smiti Huria and Bhanvi respectively and to the other members of the cabinet.

Preeti Sharma handed over the school flag to the school head girl, Haramrit Kaur and KS Sikand, HOD of sports department Handed over the flag to sports captain Shreya Bublani.

Chairman LWES Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman LWES Deepak Bhatia and Director LWES Nitin Kohli presented a bouquet and a token of gratitude to the honorable chief guest.

Executive director LWES JK Kohli congratulated all the office bearers and asked them to look forward to working sincerely as a bridge between the school administration and the student body in promoting good governance of the school.

Chief Guest Colonel Ramit Arora said, that all the new appointments must bear the responsibility with a true heart for everybody’s success in school. This should be done with utmost sincerity.

Head girl administered the oath of allegiance whereby the newly cabinet members promised to discharge their duties honestly, sincerely and to the best of their ability. They promised to take the school to newer heights and resplendence.

Principal CIS Foundation School, Meenu Huria, Head Mistress CIS coed Kironjot, Coordinator Ravinder Mahal, Monica Jouhal, Deepti Arora, Gurpreet Kaur, Tanu Oberoi and House heads Puneeta sehgal, Sangamitra, Nivedita and Jasvir were also present.

The echo of the school song and national anthem was the perfect culmination to the ceremony.
