Students of SMD Little Champ Smart School celebrate World Environment Day.
Panchkula, June 5, 2014: World Environment Day was celebrated at SMD Little Champ Smart School .Teachers explained the importance of trees and Wild life to the students. Few students spoke on the topic ‘How to preserve and improve Environment’. Director Naresh Gupta encouraged the children to protect and improve the natural environment. Children took a pledge to rededicate themselves towards protection of the environment.
It is noteworthy that World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated every year on June 5 to raise Global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth. The effort by SMD Little Champ School is appreciable as it’s at a young age that children need to be sensitized about environment and its protection.
