Jalandhar, May 28, 2014: Ivy World School, Jalandhar organized Optimum Tennis Sports Tournament open to all participants in the various categories. The tournament opened with great enthusiasm as the participants prepared to put in their best. The tournament spread over a period of three days as the number of entries were large from all the leading schools from all over Punjab and Jalandhar. The students played with spirit and skill and worked hard towards winning positions and kudos during the tournament.

Outstanding result of Apeejay School students
Jalandhar, May 28, 2014: The XII class students of Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar have outshone the XII class CBSE results by securing 100% pass percentage. 12% students have secured above 90% marks, 40% students have secured above 80% marks and 100% students have secured above 60% marks.
IN THE NON-MEDICAL STREAM:
•    Jasjit Kaur has stood First securing 94% marks aggregate with 100 in Painting, 95 in Maths and Physics and 91% in Chemistry.
•    Gurgeet Singh Bhogal has stood second securing 87% marks aggregate with 95 in Maths, 91 in Chemistry and 87 in English.
•    Sukhirath Singh has stood third securing 85.4% marks aggregate with 98 in Physical Education, 89 in Chemistry and 86 in English.
IN THE MEDICAL STREAM:
•    Aneet Kaur Bajwa has stood First securing 92% marks aggregate with 95 in English, Physical Education and Chemistry and 92 in Biology.
•    Kamajeet Kaur has stood second securing 91% marks aggregate with 96 in Chemistry, 91 in Physics and Biology and 90 in English.
•    Manjot Kaur has stood third securing 85% marks aggregate with 95 in English, 92 in Biology and 91 in Physical Education.
 
IN THE COMMERCE STREAM:
•    Kiranjeet Kaur has stood first securing 82.4% marks aggregate with 100 in Painting and 95 in Business Studies.
•    Aman Kapoor has stood second securing 79% marks aggregate with 95 in Business studies and 93 in Physical Education.
•    Yuvraj Partap Singh has stood third securing 77.5% marks aggregate with 88 in Physical Education and 81 in English.

    Jasjit Kaur and Kiranjit Kaur have secured perfect 100 in painting.v
•    In English 21% students have secured above 90 and 50% have secured above 80.
•    In Physics 12% students have secured above 90 and 28% have secured above 80.
•    In Chemistry 16% students have secured above 90 and 24% students have secured above 80.
•    In Biology 22% students have secured above 90 and 33% students have secured above 80.
•    In Maths 12% students have secured above 90 and 19% students have secured above 80.
•    In Painting 100% students have secured above 90%.
•    In Physical Education 61% students have secured above 90 and 96% have secured above 80.
•    In Computer Science 40% students have secured above 90 and 100% have secured above 80.
•    In Business Studies 40% students have secured above 90.
Principal Madhu Sharma congratulated the students and their parents for a wonderful result. She also congratulated the teachers for guiding students so well. She blessed all the students with a bright future.
