Student Welfare Cell of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organising `Message Writing Competition’ on Saturday.
Jalandhar, March 23, 2013: Student Welfare Cell of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya paid glowing tributes to the great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on his martyrdom day by organising `Message Writing Competition’.
The students expressed their patriotic feelings by writing messages. Highly inspired by the life of the legendary freedom fighter, they praised him to glorious heights by highlighting his sacrifice.
Simran Kaur B.Com. (Prof.)-I bagged the first prize.
Second Prize was bagged by Diksha B.Com. (Prof.)-I.
Third prize was bagged by Kirti B.Com.(Prof.)-I.
Few lines written by students - Simran, “Saheedon Ki Chitaon Pe Lagenge Har Baras Mele, Watan Par Mitne Walon Ka Yehi Baki Nishan Hoga.”
Diksha, “ We Salute Bhagat Singh for his sacrifice and freedom fight.”
In the words of Kirti, “ Unka Naara Inquilab Zindabad ek alag sa josh bhar deta hai.”
Dean Student Welfare Cell Madhumeet supervised the entire event. Members Student Welfare (Teachers) Rashmi Randev, Manpreet and Harjot were also present.
Principal Dr. Atima Sharma highlighted the importance of imbibing patriotic values among students. She stressed that the need of the hour is to have a corruption free society in which values like patriotism can flourish. She congratulated Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare Cell for organising the event.
