Ludhiana, July 3, 2014: Bhawanpreet Kaur, student of B.Sc Biotech 2013 batch of PCTE, Ludhiana has stood First in University Examination of Punjab Technical University. She scored 88% marks in 3rd semester examination. Another student Simran Singh Sachdev of same batch from PCTE stood second whereas Ushina Verma from CCT Landran stood third in University Examinations.
In addition to this Radhika Chauhan and Ramneet Kaur student of same batch, PCTE secured fourth and Ninth position in University respectively. In this semester results six students of PCTE secured first position in University including BBA, BCA, B.Com, Hotel Management, Biotech and M.Sc-IT courses.
Bhawanpreet Kaur on her success said that, “I gave my best in examinations and I thank god for this success and also my teachers and parents who supported me with full zeal’. Simran Singh Sachdev said that "It is a moment of pride for my parents and I am happy to achieve this. It requires huge amount of constant dedication to secure University Position.”
Dr. S.K Munshi Head of Biotechnology department said that, “Bhawanpreet Kaur was dedicated to secure university position. He said that Biotechnology students of PCTE have always performed exceptionally well in University Examination".
Dr. K.N.S.Kang Director General PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the students and also said that it is the hard work and commitment that has paid all of them. He also said that PCTE is putting in lot of efforts in improving the quality of education. He said that this achievement of the student will help them in professional and personal life. He wished all the students good luck for their life.
