Wish fulfilling day being observed in Apeejay, Jalandhar.

Jalandhar, July 9, 2014: The Department of Design, Applied Art and Multimedia of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised a Wish Fulfilling Day for the newcomers to the various graduation courses on 9th July 2014. During this creative exercise, the students displayed products made of paper and fabric that reflected their concern and desire for a better life.
Majority of the students wished for a healthy life and a healthy environment. They made artifacts showing smiling birds, animals, flora and foliage. Others wished for a society free from various social evils like honour killings, female foeticide, caste discrimination etc. Some even wished for success for themselves by making crowns and sashes.
Congratulating the organisers, Dr. Sucharita, Principal of the college said that this activity has helped the students to channelise their creative talent and show their attitude and interest. This unique event will go a long way in giving a direction to the teachers to help the students hone their particular talent.
