Chandigarh, July 14, 2014: The Punjab Education Minister Dr.Daljit Singh Cheema has decided to change the school timing giving relief to the government school students. He said that this decision has been taken due to increase in temperature and delayed monsoon in the state.
Dr. Cheema said that now government schools from 1st to 8th class will open from 7.30 AM to 12.30 PM and from 8thclass to 12th class to 1.30 PM. He said that this decision would be in force till 31st July, 2014.
