Victory Day being celebrated at Cambridge International Foundation School, Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, August 2, 2014: Success can never be enjoyed without failure. This is the main motto of Cambridge International Foundation School has been inculcating among students. Similar to the above quote today they also came to know that Freedom can also not be enjoyed without the jolts of slavery when they celebrated Victory Day in the school premises. Tributes were paid to those martyrs who waged a powerful struggle for independence. Speeches were delivered house wise in the form of poetry and prose. Candles were lit, flowers were showered to make the atmosphere pleasant.
Students of Kindergarten also recited poems and paid homage to patriots. Emphasis was laid on the peace and everyone was given a chance to write in their words about what is peace according to them.
Principal Meenu Huria and a brief speech in the form of message was delivered by her.
