Van Mahoutsav being celebrated at KMV, Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, August 3, 2014: NSS Department of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya celebrated ‘Van Mahoutsav’ by organising a Tree Plantation drive. Different varieties of trees were planted in various parts of the college campus. NSS volunteers from PG and UG classes planted the trees. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma also planted saplings of different varieties. She motivated the students to keep their environment clean & green and discussed about the global need of planting trees. She then congratulated the NSS department for this endeavour. Anupam, Ashima and Sonik from NSS Department were present on the occasion.
