Students participate in Investiture Ceremony at B C M School, Dugri, Ludhiana on Monday.
Ludhiana, August 4, 2014: Celebrating the essence of the quote, ‘Let’s not pray for tasks equal to our powers but for powers equal to our tasks’, Investiture ceremony was held at BCM, Dugri, Ludhiana on August 2.The ceremony commenced with invoking the God’s blessings and the musical launch of the ‘BCM Song’. Then began the ceremonial pinning of Badges and handing over of sashes to the School Captains, Bakshishpreet Singh and Anupreet Kaur followed by House Captains of all Houses by the revered School Principal alongwith Coordinators and House Masters. Prince Dhiman and Ishu were selected as the House Captains of Shalimar House, Abhishek Kaushal and Navjot Kaur of Gulmohar, Vikas Goyaland Gurleen Kaur became the House Captains of Kohinoor and Namandeep Singh and Bhumika Mittal of Pukhraj House respectively.
The formally appointed elite school senate was brimming with confidence. Donning the mantle of responsibilities, they pledged to discharge their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by the rules and regulations of the school. Sharing her thoughts, Dr. Vandna Shahi talked about leadership and inspired the council to lead a life of dreams and achieve those dreams with determination and responsibility.
