Students participate in Janamashtami celebrations in ABC Montessori Basant Avenue at Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, August 19, 2014: Little Montessorians were draped in the spirit of festivity on Tuesday. The birthday of Lord Krishna was celebrated with much fervour at the ABC Montessori School. The Montessorians in colourful dresses, presented a charming show depicting different aspects of the life of Lord Krishna.The whole school resounded with the sounds of ‘Hare Rama, Hare Krishna.’ Charandeep Dua, the director of school distributed prasad among the children.
Students attired themselves like Radha, Krishna, Meera, Sudama with a beautiful smile on their faces entered the premises. School decorated with flowers, buntings, swings and pictures of "Makhan Chor" looked like Vrindavan where little Montessorians of Nursery (Paramveer, Ishveer, Harman, Devbir, Darshveer, Niamat, Manreet, Sarakshi and Raisal) danced on the song “Maaiya Yashoda” . Girls looked like "Gopies", were first to dance with Krishna. Students of Pre-Nursery Wing (Ishveer, Bisman, Bhavreet, Aayan and Hasrat others) danced on the tunes of “Woh Kisna Hai”. gave a spellbound Performance. Students were given information about the Krishna's life and his thoughts. Special "Matkie" was prepared which was later broken by "Kanha" and his friends, together to get butter from it. Whole scene looked like as if ABC Montessori was dipped in the colours of rainbows, where Montessorians celebrated lord Krishna's Birthday with their own special way.
A special Jhoola was decorated for Little Kanha. All the students worshiped Lord Kanha and teachers clothe and decorate the deity of Krishna and string enormous flower garlands and other decorations for the Jhoola. At the end,students of Nursery Amanjot, Echita, Eshita and others presented a fusion on different songs of lord Krishna. Yashomati maiya se bole nandlal, aala re aala-zara matki sambhal brijbala. This was the markable and fabulous performance of the day.
