Jalandhar, April 18, 2013: Cadet Simran Kaur of KMV N.C.C. sub-unit excelled in Jalandhar group level firing competition.
She was the best in both group firing and snap-shooting.
The team of 2 Pb NCC (G) BN also won the overall prize.
Cadet Simran Kaur was declared the overall ‘Best Cadet’ of the group she won four medals and a cash prize of Rs. 1,200.
Principal Dr. Atima Sharma congratulated the cadet and also in-charge NCC unit Lt. Seema Arora. She said that such activities not only physically empowered the girl cadets but also took their confidence to new heights, which helped them to improve the quality of life around them.
