As many as 18 students of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya (HMV), Jalandhar, who won Gold Medal in an International Mathematics Olympiad.
Jalandhar, April 23, 2013: As many as 18 students of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya (HMV), Jalandhar, participated in 6th SOF International Mathematics Olympiad and won Gold Medal in an International Mathematics Olympiad.
This was stated by the principal of the HMV College, Dr Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj here today. She said as many as 18 students of +2 and 16 students of +1 participated under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj and HOD, Gagandeep. Aanchal Pathania of SSC-I and Amandeep Kaur of SSC-II got Gold Medals, Richa Gupta and Sonica Rani of SSC-I and Gagandeep of SSC-II got Silver medals, Kashish Mahajan of SSC-I and Supreet Kaur of SSC-II bagged Bronze medals.
All the participants have got certificate of participation. It is a matter of honour too that not only students of our college have brought laurels but the principal and teachers have been awarded the certificate of appreciation.
Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj congratulated the students and awarded medals to all the winners and inspired them to move ahead with great vigour and hard work.
