Feozepur, April 29, 2013: The Punjab ETT Teachers Union in its meeting held at Ferozepur today have decided to organise protest at all the district headquarters in the state on May 6, for nor implementing the decisions taken amicably in the meeting with the Chief Minister, Punjab, like declaring of Zila Parishad Directorate, transfer of teachers on seniority basis, CP and State cadre, 4-9-14 cases and other service benefits, for which the directions have been issued number of times but the same are not being implemented.
The Union leader, Jagmeet Chugha, senior vice president, giving a warning to the government said that in case their demands are not met immediately, the gehrao of Panchyat Minister, Surjit Singh Rakhra, would be made on May 26. The ‘parvesh project’ launched by Sarv Sikhiya Vibhag would only be implemented if the government honour its commitment made with the teachers.
