Ludhiana, May 21, 2013: All India Management Association (AIMA) has published the result of Business Schools Ranking May 2013 in its monthly Magazine Indian Management May 2013 Edition. Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GNIMT), Gujarkhan Campus, Model Town, Ludhiana, got the top grading in Punjab, J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Western U.P except NCR. The other Institute with a similar grading in the region is PCTE Baddowal.
There are about 5,000 Business Schools all over India.
GNIMT is among the top 75 including all the IIM and various universities. This is the fourth time in succession that GNIMT and PCTE have got top grading in North India.
During the Grading process, the GNIMT got 95% marks in Infrastructure, 90% in governance, 85% in Intellectual Capital and 75% in Audit Percentile for which the credit goes to the responsive Management. The Institute was also graded Punjab A++in the Grading carried out by an MNC ONICRA Ltd. on behalf of Punjab Technical University in 2012. The Institute proved itself to be the best by getting Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals in MBA in 2012. Its students have also stood first in MBA and B.Com First Semester Exams held in December, 2012 for which the result was declared recently.
Dr. (Col.) H.S. Singha, Director of the Institute attributed this brilliant performance to dedicated and sincere work by the faculty, gracious help from the Management and cooperation by the entire staff. He congratulated the faculty and staff for this achievement.
