Ferozepur, January 30, 2013: Another feather was added in the crown of Dev Samaj College for Women when its students won the Silver Medal in North Zone Open Badmintorn Doubles Championship held at Abohar.
Mandeep Kaur, Sarbajeet Kaur, Karamjit Kaur, Gurpreet Kaur students of the college participated in this championship.
In a tough competition, Dev Samaj College for Women entered the semi-final defeating Abohar team. Karamjit Kaur and Gurpeet Kaur, duo gave strong fight to Chandigarh team.
M. R. Machanda, secretary, Dev Samaj and Dr.Madhu Prashar, principal congratulated the sports department in-charge, Prof.Balwinder Singh, Madam Kamal amd Madam Sapinder Kaur.
