Chandigarh, June 13, 2013: The Punjab Government has initiated a massive exercise to strengthen Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training by given its nod to recruit 135 highly trained professionals on service providing trainer's posts.
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that these posts would be on contract basis for 3 years at a consolidated salary of Rs.30313 per month. The service of the incumbents would be regularised as per government policy on completion of 3 years service on contract basis.
He said that out of the total 135 posts, 47 posts for fabrication sector, 17 for automobile sector, 15 for refrigerator and air-conditioning sector, 12 for food processing sector and 12 for agriculture mechanic sector, 9 for production and manufacturing sector, 8 for electrical sector, 6 for construction sector, 6 for textile sector and 3 for information technology sector.
The Spokesperson further said that the candidates could apply online only for which they could log on to department’s website www.spt.applyforexam.com. He said that the applications through any other mean would not be accepted. Last date for submission of application is July 1, 2013.
