Ferozepur, July 20, 2013: It looks that even after the tragic incident of death of 23 children in Bihar after consuming mid-day meal, the contractor of mid-day meal supplier have forgotten the task of supply of good quality meal to the students and another glaring example is of noticing of finding dead insects in the vegetable in Municipal Council Primary School for Girls Ferozshah near Talwandi Bhai in Ferozepur district, while the chapattis were also not fit for consumption. This saved the girls students from falling ill or any untoward incident on noticing the insects in the food before serving.
However, immediately on getting this information, Tarsem Singh Malla President Municipal Council and Poonam Bhatnagar, EO arranged fruits for the children.
The samples of the food were taken by Parminder Kaur, Medical Officer on reaching the school and started further proceedings for its testing and reporting to the senior authorities.
