Ferozepur, August 7, 2013: The Chemistry Department of Dev Samaj College for Women- a premier institution with NACC "A grade certification, celebrated on Wednesday “Organ Donation Day”.
On this occasion, Dr. Madhu Prashar, Principal addressed the students of the college highlighted the importance of donation of organs.
She said, “The purpose of life becomes successful only when you donate your organs after death which makes you mortal for all times to come. By donating your organ, you not only give life to someone but also show the end of your life with “to be continued”.
Prof. Anju Gupta also motivated the students by giving the various examples about the importance of organ donations.
Gurjitm Sakshi, Shayana, Vandna, Palwinder and Geetanjli students of the college also expressed their views on the importance of donation of organs after death.
The entire teaching, non-teaching staff and students of the college were present to celebrate this day.
