The foundation stone of Indoor Shooting Range and Gymnasium Hall of G.H.G. Khalsa College Gurusar Sadhar being laid on Sunday by Parneet Kaur Kairon, daughter of Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab, and wife of Adesh Partap Singh Kairon, Cabinet Minister of Punjab.
Ludhiana, August 18, 2013: The foundation stone of Indoor Shooting Range and Gymnasium Hall of G.H.G. Khalsa College Gurusar Sadhar was laid today by Parneet Kaur Kairon, daughter of Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab, and wife of Adesh Partap Singh Kairon, Cabinet Minister of Punjab.
Principal Dr. Swaranjeet Singh Deol spoke of the various achievements of GHG Colleges. The Chief Guest was honoured by Manjit Singh Gill with a shawl and a memento.
In her address, Kairon praised and complimented the college for its glorious achievements. She also released the college magazine “Gurusar” and gave away prizes to University position holders in academics and the sportspersons. The first and the second positions holders were given computer tablets.
The college Gidha and Bhangra teams performed on the stage.
Members of the Management, Hareena Gill, Dr. H.S Brar (Principal GHG Khalsa College of Education), Dr. V.K Kapoor (Principal GHG Khalsa College of Pharmacy), Members of the Staff, students and other distinguished personalities from the area were present.
