Kanya Maha Vidyalaya’s Ramanujan Society of P.G. Department of Mathematics organised an Extension Lecture on “Fun in Mathematics” at Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, February 12, 2013: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya’s Ramanujan Society of P.G. Department of Mathematics organised an Extension Lecture on “Fun in Mathematics”.
The guest speaker on the occasion was Prof. Romesh Kumar (Retired HOD, P.G. Department of Mathematics DAV College, Jalandhar). He spoke at length on shortcut methods for calculations in Mathematics based on Vedic Mathematics. He also explained the concepts of Mathematics by relating it to real life situations.
The Principal of KMV Dr. Atima Sharma said that such lectures are very useful for the students.
