C.V. Raman Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organising Sci-Explore 2013.
Jalandhar, August 31, 2013: C.V. Raman Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised Sci-Explore 2013 under the directions of Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj.
As many as 600 students attended the function in which various events like Extempore, open quiz and science quotation contest on topics like Forest – A boon to planet, Role of biomolecules in life, Green Chemistry, Cell phones and radiation hazards etc. were held.
In Quotation Competition Loveleen Kaur, Kusum Verma, Manmeet Kaur stood first, second and third, respectively. In Extempore Sukhwinder Kaur, Meghna, Radhika and Charandeep stood first, second and third, respectively.
Renuka Bhatti, Officiating Principal gave away prizes to the winners. Event organiser Dr. Neelam Sharma welcomed the guests and highlighted the activities and achievements of the CV Raman Society.
On this occasion, Co-organiser Dr. Seema Marwaha, Meenkashi Syal Dean Academics, Bhupinder Kaur, HOD Chemistry, Kiranjit Kaur, HOD Zoology, Meena Sharma, HOD Botany and all staff members of science department were also present.
