Jalandhar, September 6, 2013: Home Science Department of B.D.Arya Girls College, Jalandhar cantonment is organising Nutrition Week from September1 to 7.
Students of Home science Department gave presentations on raising agents and its effects on health, and a cafeteria was arranged by the students.
On the occasion, a `chaat’ competition was also arranged. A special guest lecture on " Healthy skin & hair diet" was delivered by Shikha Dixit ( Dt.) to the students.
Tomorrow a special presentation on Thyroid disease will be presented by a student.
College Principal Dr. Sarita Verma appreciated the effort and motivated students to avoid fast food and to take fresh and healthy food.
