Ludhiana News- Fresher's Party at Government College for Boys

Ludhiana, September 6, 2013: "If Music be the food of love, play on, Give me excess of it" was delivered in the Sahir Auditorium of Government College for Boys during Freshers' Party of English Department when girls encapsulated a decade from Madhu Bala's (Aaiyea Hazoor tumko Sitaron me le challu  to the Chennai Express of Deepika Padukone.
It was a magnificent evening where everything from Thumari to Western Dance, from modeling to folk genre connected with the audience.
While Esha and Aiyushi gave melodious song, Ramzan Ali's Indo-Western fusion in the form of Salsa was simply spell-binding.    
Histrionics of Navjot and Skit enthralled the audience by frequent fits of laughter yet knowing fully well 'Comedy is a serious business'. Modelling performed by students on the theme of patriotism with occasional fits of Inqualaab Zindabaad presented the Love Legends of Punjab as well. notwithstanding the one & only 'Bhangra with all sound and fury, a visually challenged students of MA I Gurpreet Singh stole the show by participating in modelling to be the show-shopper in his own league.
Principal Rajinder Singh applauded the efforts of students and staff for making the programme a success.
Prof. Sunanda Joshi, HOD English in thanks giving impressed upon the students to explore their reservoir of potential in all walks of life.
