Chandigarh, September 9, 2013: Punjab Government has launched a massive anti cheating campaign across the state.
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that during this a three staged campaign rallies seminars and exhibitions were being organized in various districts with the participation of students. Education Minister Sikandar Singh Maluka had launched this campaign on August 27, 2013 at Bathinda that would cover the entire state till December.
Spokesman informed that a scheduled programme of rallies and other activities had been chalked out. According to which anti cheating campaign rallies would be organized at Tarn Taran on Sept. 10, Moga on Sept. 12, Jalandhar on Sept 19, Kapurthala on Sept. 20, Fazilka on Sept. 24, Ropar on Sept. 26 and Sri Fatehgarh Sahib on Sept. 30, 2013. Likewise the programme for the remaining districts would also be announced soon. Before conducting a seminar large number of students displaying anti cheating slogan boards in their hands and walked through the streets.
During the seminar lectures would be conducted by the resource persons. To encourage the students, three prizes would also be given for the best three slogans. The participation of the parents of the students would also be ensured during these activities. In the third phase of this campaign exhibition would be followed by the seminars, displaying posters, slogans and other related material to motivate the students to shun the practice of cheating in the examinations. The spokesman also informed that the public was giving good response to this campaign. All the state and district education offices were taking part in these activities through enthusiastically.
