Jalandhar, September 17, 2013: KMV, Jalandhar's Department of History organised an extension lecture on the ‘Importance of Social Sciences’.
The resource person for the same was Dr. Kiranpreet Kaur, Head Department of Sociology and Social Works from Punjab University, Chandigarh. The learned speaker enlightened the young scholars about the origin, scope importance and future of social sciences. Satisfying the diverse curiosities of the audience she also talked about the varied and interested career options for those who graduate in this stream. It was a growing experience for all present.
