Ludhiana News/ Ramgarhia Educational Council takes out Nagar Kirtan

On the sacred occasion of the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev, Ramgarhia Educational Council, Ludhiana, with the co-operation of Sadh-Sangat, takes out Nagar Kirtan on Saturday from Ramgarhia Gurudwara Sahib.

Ludhiana, November 16, 2013: On the sacred occasion of the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev, Ramgarhia Educational Council, Miller Ganj, Ludhiana, with the co-operation of Sadh-Sangat, took out Nagar Kirtan on Saturday from Ramgarhia Gurudwara Sahib.

All the Singh Sabhas, Sewa Societies, Women Satsang Sabhas, Sri Sukhmani Sahib Sewa Societies, Religious and Political organisations of the city, the members of Youth Wing Scholars, Advocates, Doctors, Nihang Singhs, Students from Ramgarhia Educational Institutions, Dashmesh Sr. Sec. School, Gurmat Colleges and Schools took part in it.

The Nagar Kirtan was led by the Panj Pyaras (Five Beloveds) under the patronage of “Sri Guru Granth Sahib”. The holy procession started from Ramgarhia Gurudwara Sahib and passing through Vishkarma Chowk, it covered Gill Road and its adjoining areas and came back to Gurudwara Sahib.

The routes were beautifully decorated by the Sangat and the provision of ‘Langar’ was made at several places. Ranjodh Singh, President, Jagtar Singh, General Secretary and the other members of Ramgarhia Educational Council presented ‘Siropao’ to all the organisations and the Nagar Kirtan successfully culminated.

Manjit Singh MSSS, Harcharan Singh Birson, Harbans Singh Bhanvar, Jasbir Singh Riat, Gurcharan Singh Lotey and the other members of Ramgarhia Educational Council attended the occasion. The event was also marked by the presence of Principal, Dr. Narinder Sandhu, Principal, Kamaljeet Kaur Kalsi, Principal, Ashok Kumar and Principal, Amarpal Singh.
