Partap Singh Bajwa MP and President Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) on Wednesday presides over annual function of Doaba Public School at Dhariwal (Gurdaspur).
Dhariwal(Gurdaspur), December 4, 2013: Partap Singh Bajwa MP and President Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) today presided over annual function of Doaba Public School here and gave a grant of Rs.10 lakh from his MP LAD fund to school management.
While addressing the students, Bajwa stressed for moral education to the children. He said that teachers had a major role in shaping the character of children. He asked the students to focus on job oriented courses and specially make efforts to join Information Technology courses. He said that IT has lot of potential for jobs. He asked the school management to utilise grant for providing basic infrastructure for IT courses and other vocational subjects.
Charanjit Kaur Bajwa Congress MLA said that Doaba Public School was doing great service to society by imparting valuable education to students of all sections.
Barinder Singh Chhotepur Chairman of the school management welcomed Bajwa and thanked him for grant from his MPLAD fund.
