Jalandhar, December 4, 2013: Lyallpur Khalsa College is to organise its Sardar Balbir Singh Alumni Meet on December 5 on the 75th birth anniversary of its late President Balbir Singh, former Member Parliament and an alumnus of the college.
Giving this information to the press, the College Principal Dr. Samra added that the college has a list of distinguished alumni including movie and theatre icon Prithvi Raj Kapoor, former Union Home Minister Buta Singh, famous sports persons such as former Indian Hockey captains Ajitpal Singh and Pargat Singh and popular singers like Malkit Singh and Sarabjit Cheema.
