Dr. Katalin Illes from University of Westminster speaks at a workshop at PCTE Group of Institutes at Ludhiana on Wednesday.
Ludhiana, January 22, 2014: To get the students world class education at PCTE Group of Institutes, Dr. Katalin Illes from University of Westminster was invited for a week long workshop with PGDM students on “Management Leadership & Culture”. She is presently working as Principal Lecturer in Leadership and Development, University of Westminster, London. Dr. Illes with 38 years of experience in Industry & Academia has also worked with prestigious Universities including Cambridge University, UK. She has a doctorate in literature from University of Budapest and has worked extensively in various parts of Europe.
Students of PGDM course in PCTE-B School along with various faculty members & dignitaries attended the workshop.
Dr. Gautam Bansal, Dean, PCTE B-School said that the workshop helped us to understand the need of leaders in the corporate world. He further stressed that Dr. Katalin’s vast International experience brought in the much required global perspective to the subject. The conduct of the workshop was with practical examples and will help students implement the learning in their day to day life, Dr. Bansal added.
Morisha Bansal, student PGDM said that it was a great international learning experience . She taught us with different classroom activities to understand the behavior of leaders and how effectively it can be used in an organization. Her global experience and sharing with us will hence help us to expertise in our sector and grow as good professional leader, Morisha added.
