CT Institute of Hotel Management organises ‘Bakers Day’

CT Institute of Hotel Management at Jalandhar organising ‘Bakers Day’ on Wednesday.

Jalandhar, January 22, 2014: Initiating the step to provide practical exposure to the students of Hotel Management, CT Institute of Hotel Management & Hospitality Administration organized the event Bakers World at its hi-end bakery named Aryana Bakery at the premises of Shahpur Campus. Mouth watering, relishing, picturesque bakery products were on display. Live cake making, Live pastries making was the special attraction of the day. Internationally famous bakery products like bagels, Frocassia, Dinner roll, Bookmaker sandwich, lava cake, varieties of cookies and many more triggered the taste buds of all and sundry present. Students arranged stall of various products. As many as 90 bakery products were kept on display.

Aryana Bakery has the reputation of making delicious cake in the city and it has the mission to reach the taste buds of all the Jalandharite. Bakery chef from different hotels like Radission, Maya also witnessed the events. The day mesmerised the taste buds of all bakery connoisseurs from the city. Bakery Chef, Ashok demonstrated live making of lava cake.

Sharing the views Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group said, “The event was the step of enlightening the Jalandharite about various bakery products of international acclaim. All the products, which have been made, were later distributed to the needy people in the nearby village so that they get the chance of enjoying delicious and relishing bakery products.”

 This was a platform where the students of the hotel management exhibited their confectionary skills in a practical way as they are being trained by the experts at the institution. This endeavor once again enables them to utilise the practical skills learnt in the course period.

Speaking on the occasion Charanjit Singh Channi Chairman CT Group of Institutions said, “We at CT Group of Institutions intend that our students of hotel management may be having the practical touch of knowledge. While stepping in the hotel Industry they may not confront any sort of problem.
