Jaalndhar, February 25, 2014: The Ramanujan Mathematical Society of KMV PG Dept. of Mathematics organised a seminar on ‘Career Options after studying higher mathematics’.
Rohit Gupta from MIM (Mohan’s Institute of Mathematics) one of the leading institute of Mathematics in Northern India preparing students for CSIR-UGC-NET (for eligibility of lectureship) GATE (for research in Maths), NBHM (National Board of Higher Mathematics) gave an awareness lecture on eligibility for availing scholarship in UG & PG programs with maths while studying. He also made the students aware about reputed institutes in India for research programme in Mathematics like HRI Allahabad, IMSC Chennai, IISC Bangalore, ISI Kolkata, JNU & TIFR.
