Convocation Ceremony of Army College of Nursing, Jalandhar Cantt being held on Tuesday at Military Hospital, Jalandhar Cantt.
Jalandhar, February 25, 2014: Convocation Ceremony of Army College of Nursing, Jalandhar Cantt was held today at Military Hospital, Jalandhar Cantt. Chief of Staff, Vajra Corps (Chairman, Army College of Nursing, Jalandhar Cantt) was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The function was also attended by senior officers of Army as well as Civil dignitaries. 50 degrees to the graduates of forth batch, passed out in 2012, were given by the Chief Guest. Prizes to the meritorious students were also awarded.
Army College of Nursing at Jalandhar Cantt was established in Aug 2005 as a welfare institution by Army for imparting quality nursing education to the female wards of serving and retired Army personnel at an affordable cost. The students of the college are performing exceedingly well both in academics and co-curricular activities. The college has already carved a niche for itself professionally as well as in extra co-curricular activities.
Commandant, Military Hospital, Jalandhar Cantt (Director, Army College of Nursing, Jalandhar Cantt) in his welcome address extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Senior Officers of Army, parents and the recipients. The Principal in her report highlighted the achievements of the graduates for their excellent academic and other co-curricular activities.
The Chief of Staff, the Chief Guest on the occasion also addressed the gathering. In his address, The General Officer congratulated the graduates for their hard work and dedication in achieving the goals set and for their contribution towards enriching the academic and community environment of the campus. The Chief Guest advised the graduates to keep pace with the ongoing changes and exhorted them to achieve excellence in the nursing field.
