Jalandhar, April 22, 2014: Montgomerians celebrated World Earth Day with fervor and Gusto on Tuesday. An ‘Awakening March’ was taken out by the students of MGN Public School, Adarsh Nagar, Jalandhar in the vicinity of the School, students carrying colourful placard and banners was such a lovely sight and was worth watching. It was led by the School Band. The slogans raised by the students to save Mother ‘Earth’ were overwhelming. Free Saplings and leaflets highlighting ways to keep the earth ‘clean & green’ were also distributed. Brinder Kaur Badwal, Officiating Principal, Kiran Mehta, In-charge Primary Wing and Sukham, In-charge Rainbow wing led the ‘Save Earth’ campaign.
