HMV, Jalandhar alumni visit campus.

Jalandhar, May 10, 2014: The alumni sisters of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Shashi Kanta and Usha Kanta from U.K. visited HMV with Prof Dr S.K Airee.
Prof Airee is an eminent scholar and Professor of Chemistry at University of Tennessee, Martin. He visited the campus along with his wife Shashi Kanta. Principal Dr Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj welcomed them. They visited Arts Block, Library, Multimedia Department, Conference Room, Cosmetology Department. Dr. Airee had casual interaction with faculty members of Chemistry Department and discussed the concept of Green Chemistry. He said that the labs of Chemistry at HMV are really efficient and well equipped.
Shashi Kanta and Usha Kanta said that they have visited the college after 50 years and the college has developed so much. They both did their graduation from this college. Usha Kanta was a member of Volleyball team of the college way back in 1966. She also visited the college playgrounds.
Principal Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj thanked them for their visit.
On this occasion, Dean Academics Meenakshi Syal, Head of Psychology Department Dr. Jasbir Rishi, Head of Home Science Department Sunita Saggi, Librarian Renu Singla were also present.
