
KMV, Jalandhar on Tuesday organising Computer and Internet Skills Workshop for school teachers.

Jalandhar, May 13, 2014: KMV PG Department of Computer Science and Applications Jalandhar organised a 2-Day Workshop for School Teachers on “Computer and Internet Skills” to equip the school teachers with the latest computer technology and internet skills to be used in teaching, documentation, presentation, designing, open office tools and searching useful information on internet. They were also taught how to use computer and internet for making day to day transactions like payment of utility bills- electricity bill, phone bill, recharging mobile bucks and reservation of railway and air tickets in four modules.
42 Schools teachers from multi disciplinary areas of teaching attended this 2-day FDP. The participants were from schools of the region viz. Jalandhar Model School, Shiv Jyoti Public School, Dev Raj Girls School, Sanskriti KMV School and Shiv Devi Girls High School. The programme benefitted many school teachers and made them confident to use the above mentioned skills.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma congratulated the Head of Department Suman Khurana for organising such a wonderful workshop which genuinely enriched their knowledge pool.
Pardeep Arora, Ravi Khurana, Anshu Oberoi, Rajni Bansal, Seema Singh, Nidhi Bhatia, Vandana Sharma and Harvinder Kaur took these classes in different batches.
Principal shared that such kind of programmes will be organised in future also for the benefit of other teachers.
