Jalandhar, May 16, 2014: DIPS Kapurthala, Pre-primary section conducted the Colour My World Competition on Friday.
Students enthusiastically participated and enjoyed using their fine motor-skills and exploring their imagination to fill up the two pictures with colours of their choice. They complemented the event with their colourful attires.
The Principal Radha Gakhar remarked that colour consciousness was an important factor in the overall development of a child. The hand-eye coordination enhanced their creativity and interaction with colours brought out the positivity embedded in the young minds. Being all appreciation for the efforts put in by the students,she reiterated the significance of the Tri-colours- Green for joy, Saffron for sacrifice ang White for peace and purity. Certificates were given to winners. The contest was organised by the pre-primary coordinator Minakshi along with Amritpal, Karamdeep Asha, Geetanjai and Deepshikha.
