Ludhiana, June 3, 2014: Cooking classes for the citizens of Ludhiana kicked off at PCTE - Institute of Hotel Management in association with Hyatt Regency Ludhiana. Initial classes for Hors d Oeuvre/Appetizer preparation will be followed by Italian, South-East Asian, French classical cooking and much in demand bakery products in coming days. Joint certificate will be issued by PCTE & Hyatt Regency Ludhiana upon completion of the course.
Chef Tarundeep Singh, Chef de Cuisine at Hyatt Regency Ludhiana demonstrated the different dishes using Olive oil. Chef informed that “Good quality olive oil contains valuable vitamins and nutrients, and it is loaded with antioxidants much required in day to day living”. He added that use of quality of raw material for getting the ultimate food product will enhance the appetite.
Prof. Kanwal Nain Thakur, Training & Development Officer at PCTE said that “This is the first time in city where a branded hotel of International repute have come up with such a brilliant idea to impart knowledge of world class trained chefs' to the people of Ludhiana where they can cook palatable mouthwatering food at their comfort”. He informed that participants experienced hands on training while preparing dishes along with the Chefs. He added that it is an opportunity for cooking lovers of Ludhiana to share space and learn some tricks of the trade from world class professionals of Hyatt Regency.
Dr. K N S Kang, Director, PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated Faculty of Hotel Management on successful start of the summer classes in association with Hyatt Regency Ludhiana. He said the joint effort of PCTE and Hyatt Regency Ludhiana will work together to enhance culinary skills of city residents.
