
Dr.K.N.S.Kang, Director General PCTE Group of Institutes said that festival like these gave great learning’s to the students. Through these events students learn the art of being self reliant and develop a kind of competitive spirit of winning which in turn help them in facing the biggest challenges in their professional and personal life. Dr. Kang further said that the amount of competition that took place in various events can be seen only at National level Youth festivals, such was the talent and skills on display by the students.
Ludhiana, October 10, 2014: PCTE-FESTAWEEK - A cultural and literary festival finishes at PCTE. In the festival approximately 2700 students from different streams of courses from PCTE along with 200 school students & 350 students from various colleges of Ludhiana district participated in different cultural and literary events. Bothata Tsikoane, Ambassador Kingdom of Lesotho to India was the Chief Guests on the occasion.
In total 32 teams from various colleges of Punjab & Himachal Pradesh participated in Ehsaas – An Inter College competition today. In Group Dance GGN Khalsa College won the first prize, Global Institute, Amritsar won the second prize while Aurobindo College won the third prize. In Face Painting CT Institute Jallandhar won the first prize, Khalsa College for Women won the second prize while DDM College, Una won the third prize. In extempore event Punjabi University won first position, UBS Chandigarh won second position while LCET won third position.
In Koshish – Intra College Competition of PCTE Group of Institutes more than 50 teams competed for the Overall Trophy Title. In Canvas Painiting BCA-3A won the first prize, BCA-3B won the second prize while PGDM won the third prize. In Western Solo Song PGDM won the first prize, M.Pharma & M.Sc-IT won the second prize and MBA-2C won the third prize. In Poster Making BBA 3B won the first prize, Biotech won the second prize while MBA-1C won the third prize. In Solo Dance BCA 3A won the first prize BBA-3C won the second prize while MCA-3C won the third prize.
